Living at a Generations community means so much more than housing. We know the value of health and wellness and the desire for our residents to maintain independence and safety. That is why we incorporate therapy services within our communities.

Physical Therapy offers a variety of treatment approaches to reduce the risk of falls and injuries, decrease pain, increase strength, flexibility and balance. Physical Therapy practitioners train individuals in the use of balance aids (canes, walkers, etc.) and therapeutic exercise programs.

Occupational Therapy is skilled treatment that helps individuals achieve independence in all facets of their lives. It provides the training necessary to live independently. Training includes education regarding adaptive techniques and equipment to make activities of daily living easier. OT’s teach “skills for the job of living.”

Speech Language Pathology provides therapy for individuals with difficulty in communication and swallowing. Speech therapists may also provide treatment for cognitive problems such as memory and problem-solving.

We are proud to be an award winning provider of therapy services to both our residents and the community at large.
